If you employ between 5 and 249 people, two managers in your business could gain £500 each toward funding this programme through the Leadership & Management Grant Programme.
Eligibility:
Owner Managers/Key Directors of organisations with 5-249 staff excluding previous beneficiaries of Business Leaders grants through Train To Gain. This is open to all types of business including private, franchise, public and voluntary bodies providing they have 5-249 (paid or unpaid) staff. Unpaid volunteers, including Trustees, can participate in the L&M programme on the same basis as other key owner/managers.
Grant:
- The first £500 is available to the managing director, owner manager, or one key company director and does not need to be matched.
- A further grant of up to £500, which must be matched funded, is available to either the beneficiary of the first £500 or any senior manager or the management team.
- All training must have started and the grant claimed within 90 days of the grant being approved. All grants are exclusive of VAT.
Process:
A local Leadership & Management Specialist Adviser will discuss training and development requirements and to develop a Personal Development Plan, which could include other development opportunities.
The Adviser will inform the customer of the process for claiming the grant and that a follow-up call will be made to gather feedback on the process and the training support they received.
